Moscow Cultural Forum 2018

From 23 to 25 March 2018, in Moscow Museum and Exhibition Association Manege was held “Moscow Cultural Forum”. The Forum was organized by the Department of Culture of the Moscow City Government. Polylog Consulting group provided comprehensive PR-support of the event.

Three years ago

“Moscow Cultural Forum” is a platform for communication and meetings of representatives of cultural institutions, artists and citizens. It was established for the first time in 2016. After the successful launch it was decided to hold The Forum annually. By the way, PR-support for the debut event was also provided by the Polylog.

How it was?

The Forum was opened by Valentina Matviyenko, Vladimir Medinsky and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Moscow Mayor extended his heartiest congratulations to all present.

More than 800 events were held, including 500 master classes and about 40 creative meetings with the masters of the Soviet and Russian theater and cinema, writers and artists. In total 54 thousand of people visited The Forum.

Contemporary culture, for example, was represented by photographer George Kardava, film-director Kira Altman and artist Pokras Lampas. They analyzed successful SMM-cases in culture. Representatives of The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and The Moscow Museum of Modern Art discussed educational projects.

Work

Traditionally, we began with the development of corporate identity and attraction of information partners: TASS, TANR, Izvestia, Moscow 24, Evening Moscow, RBC, Agency Moscow, radio “Culture” and “Echo of Moscow” and Yandex.Afisha. We worked on the production and placement of outdoor advertising, production of souvenirs, creation of content for mos.ru.

On March 14, to answer all questions of journalists at once, a press conference was held in TASS with Alexander Kibovsky. 40 journalists were present. The result of the press-conference — 301 messages in mass media, 17 — in the printing editions, and 7 TV-news. Also, before The Forum, we initiated 6 interviews with Alexander Kibovsky and 2 — with his Deputy Vladimir Filippov.

During The Forum we were responsible for coordinating work of more than 600 media representatives. In total we initiated 23 unique interviews, for example, with Vladimir Spivakov, film actor Nikita Vysotsky, General Director of the Moscow Directorate for the development of cultural centers Maria Rogacheva. From 1 March to 2 April, the number of publications amounted to 1,758.

Cultural SMM

Before, during and after The Forum, we were actively carrying out SMM. From 8 to 27 March the total coverage of publications amounted to 177,605 contacts. Broadcasts from The Forum collected 1 966 464 views.

“Moscow Cultural Forum” is a truly reflection of modern culture. It is a place, where all cultural institutions have found its visitors. Everyone found an event to their liking.
