For the third time Polylog Consulting Group has conducted organization and PR-support of the socio-cultural project of gold mining company “Polyus” — The Contest “Polyus. The Golden Season”.
- Positioning of “Polyus” in the eyes of the regional authorities and the public as a large and reliable company that supports not only financial stability in the regions of presence, but also their socio-cultural development;
- Building and development of loyal relations with the regional target audience;
- Formation of a socially responsible image of the company at the federal level.
We began in March with the approval of the competition format, updating the criteria for the selection of theater groups and determining the main prize.
To become a participant of the Contest, it was necessary to send an application with a description of the social mission of theater and a video of a dramatic performance for an adult audience until May 1, 2018. A professional evaluation of the received applications was carried out by the expert council, included leading theatrical figures.
At the same time, we provided PR-support of the Contest. We created newsworthy stories and wrote press-releases, as well as prepared content for social networks — Facebook and Vkontakte. In addition, we attracted information partners from the Federal and regional media.
Deadline has come
This year, 32 theaters from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Krasnoyarsk territory, Irkutsk and Magadan regions participated in the Contest. It is twice more than in 2017. On June 14, at a press conference in Krasnoyarsk, the winners — 8 best teams — were announced.
The winners received an opportunity to present their performances at the festival of modern art “Territory. Krasnoyarsk”, held from 10 to 16 September in Krasnoyarsk.
Days of the festival
8 finalist-theaters took part in the educational, cultural and exhibition programs of the festival “Territory. Krasnoyarsk”. Famous directors, actors, choreographers, producers, theater critics and art-managers conducted several master-classes and lectures for the winners.
Leading Moscow theaters and associations — The Theater of Nations, The Center of Meyerhold, the Theatre “Ballet Moscow”, the Workshop of Dmitry Brusnikin, “Theater of reciprocal action” —showed their plays.

In the Federal and regional media were published 428 materials about the Contest “Polyus. The Golden Season” and the festival “Territory. Krasnoyarsk”. Comparing with 2017, the number of publications increased by 89%. 7 regional media became the information partners of the Contest.
From March to October 2018 the Contest have been covering in detail in social networks — Facebook, Vkontakte. In the accounts of the Contest were published 80 messages.
